The camera I will be using for my main production is the Panasonic Lumix LX7.
After having a look at the camera and using one for my preliminary task, I realized that aside from my basic knowledge of photography, I didn't know how to use the camera properly to capture the best quality for my front cover and double page spread.
I watched videos where the camera was reviewed on what it can do, and the best way to use it, and I learnt a lot from them.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pe58W8qfqu4 from this video from Mitch625 on YouTube, I leant that
-You can change the aspect ratio of the image by flicking the switch on the lens bow and change shutter speed at the thumb wheel on the back.
- The camera has a very fast auto focus
- The only time the camera struggles is on high ISO settings, with a range from 80-6400, Mitch625 says that anything above 3200 is where you stat to see clear issues
- The camera has wide aperture
I then watched these other videos, to research the camera, and they echoed what the first had said, and gave me confidence that I could now use the camera easily.
